Mexi's Magic IBHR 70
Mexi's Magic is by Chief Crazy Horse out of Mexicali Belle. She was foaled on May 5, 1994, and is here shown with her first foal, a colt, born in July 2000 by Idaho Night Hawk.

Maravilla IBHR 34
born 5-27-1989 Manoso/Serranna
Serranna was injured on a mountain before Maravilla was born and we thought the foal would be aborted, but though born very small, she has become one of our best producers and all of her foals have grown fast and vigorously.

Charm IBHR 44
Charm is by Manoso out of Lucero. (Manoso has the Spanish "n", which sounds like a "y" follows it) She was foaled in 1991. This picture shows her with her June 2000 colt.

Chameleon IBHR 77
born 5-20-95
Chameleon earned her name by having changed colors several times before settling on the one you see here. Her dam is Viento, who goes back to Smoke Balleau and Southern Pride. Her sire is Sangre (by Manoso who was by Azul) and her dam is Laya (by Smoke Balleau). She is shown with her July 2000 filly.

Chiripa IBHR 31
Maternal granddaughter of the finest riding horse Robert has ever known, Kiamichi, Chiripa was foaled in April of 1998, by Manoso out of Caliente. Chiripa has had several foals and the one pictured is her June 2000 colt. She was looking longingly after the rest of the mares, but he had not yet gotten his legs to work right and she was waiting for him to be ready to travel. She hadn't long to wait.

Laya, IBHR 23, was born 4-1-86
She is by Smoke Balleau out of Sin Tacha.
The foal shown here is by Arivaca (see stallion page), born June of this year.

Viento IBHR 20 born 1985
Smoke Balleau/Southern Pride (same as Chicuelo and Kiamichi (see stallions)
Here she is with her new 2002 colt by Fuego

Sin Tacha IBHR 9 was born in April, 1977. Here she is at 25, with her June 2002 foal by Arivaca (see stallion page). She has been a strong mountain horse with no "quit." Point her up, she wouldn't stop until she was on top.
