Kiamichi (IBHR 4) - The most horse in terms of energy, vitality, willingness, cooperation, with which Robert has ever had the privilege of working. A once in a lifetime horse.
Kiamichi was an expert jumper. Raised in a pasture with a series of adjustable jumps built into a winding trail, water at one end, feed at the other, he learned to take the course at a run. As a result, it was almost impossible to keep him in any pasture or pen where he didn't want to be. On one or two occasions, when a willing mare came by his pen, he took advantage of his skill, clearing in one case a fence higher than Robert's head, (about 5' 10". |
